Schools were segregated between COLORS and WHITES. (do not let anyone fool you into black/white crap IT WAS ALL COLORS) Bathrooms,restaurants,water fountains were all marked as "COLORED" and "WHITES" in many areas. Riots were forming as segregation was being banned and the "Black" community were coming out in force for the same opportunities as white people. MLK taught love and peace in a time of great debate,it's that very idea that got him killed.
