    For anyone who’s …
For anyone who’s sung ANY chorus by Handel, the repetetive “Frideric Handel” hits a bit close to home. Handel was apparently convinced that singers don’t REALLY need to breathe! Is it just me, or are they singing “la plume de ma tante” at 9:20?

It’s amazing how they can make a song so great do not get tiresome or annoying to hear. They add humor and technique in all parts of the music, which makes it look fabulous, wonderful, perfect! The 2009 Grammy they received was well deserved, and deserve more. They are BRILLIANT! I appreciate it!

    having lightly …
having lightly studied each period of music history and knowing the charactaristics of the different eras, this piece is musically hilarious, especially with the fugue to portray Bach in the beginning, then with the operatic Wagner, and the dense chords designed to portray Debussy-it brilliant. CAGE I love it all. wonderful performance.
