i cried.the film is … i cried.the film is truely beautful touching on the real meaning behind love and warning against self-centered behavior which will only lead to down fall. lots of other lessons to be learned from this movie. the actors gave life to their characters with all their heat and passion.

NO ONE COULD HAVE PLAYED GONG-GIL AS WELL AS HE DID!! HE WAS JUST PURE AMAZING!! HE’S SO BEAUTIFUL!!! NOT IN A WEIRD OR SCARY WAY! BUT JUST PURE BEAUTIFUL! HE IS LITEREALLY THE BEST ACTOR EVER!! I DONT CARE IF I AM BEING BIASED! HES AN AMAZING ACTOR!! KOREA BETTER NOT LOSE HIM!!

the king’s name is … the king’s name is yun-san (a real historical figure)and yeah, he IS mad. his mother was executed by his father when he was young and the memory slowly drives him into madness until the rebellion happens and he is executed as a public enemy…the two ladies who were killed were his father’s concubines who prompted him to execute his wife.
