    @adebarde1 – Actually, from what I hear here, the vinyl is somewhat less noisy on the surface than on U.S. pressings (this was pressed in Smiths Falls, Ontario; my copy was made in Rockaway, NJ). Still, there’s something about the vinyl experience that CD’s don’t have: watching the record spin, and the differences in label copy typesetting in different copies of one record.

    Wow, this sounds so much nicer with the original full dynamics and not the overloud normalized crap ‘remaster’ versions that exist today.

    I heard this on the radio the other day and their volume leveling ruined the whole false fade too. It’s sad that these beautiful productions are being lost to the ‘loudness wars’ and future generations won’t even know how good they originally sounded.
