I have been an Elvis fan since I was 14 yrs old now I’m65 and I can also say that I was a Big MJ fan as well, all of the fans of Elvis and MJ should be proud, we as American had 2 of the greatest perfomers of our time, niether one will be forgot, both contributed so much to our lives with there music and concerts, at time I wished MJ would have gone in to some gosbel music because he also had a great voice for it. Elvis is the King of Rock and MJ is the King of pop, no doubt about it.

I was there in Memphis and it was so amazing to see all those thousands of Fan´s from all over the world to celebrate Elvis Birthday in bittercold Temperatures outside.But we Fan´s of Elvis are the most loyal ones an Artist can ever imagine.

He is – but so is Elvis. But they are Kings of two completley different things; Pop and Rock ‘n’ Roll.

Come on everybody, lets show some dignity. No need to come on a celebration site and get into a fight. Only time will tell if there are MJ artists out there for decades after his death.I know I am here for Elvis and the music. I think MJ had great songs but I will discuss that on an MJ site should I feel the need.

Every year on Elvis’ birthday there is an Elvis Contest and Convention, “Walk A Golden Mile In My Shoes” at Blackpool, UK. The German ETA, Oliver Steinhoff, who was performing the birthday “showcase” didn’t make it because of the freezing weather. The artist who stepped in at the very last minute delighted the fans with a very different tribute (in the video response above)

what a great celebration, but on the other hand I don’t know if Elvis would have liked those that came out dressed up in a parody of himself, like some kind of carneval was going on, thought they did’nt show the respect he deserved for gibing us so much.
