Like, if you were Elvis Presley, what would good things about being you be (apart from the money)?

He was talented
Loved by many
Large, loving family
Believed in God
Comfortable home to live in
Many friends
Was HOT when he was young

Dieing on the toilet from mixing uppers and downers would have been a highlight. Course I guess that isn’t really part of life.

I know a woman who was Elvis’ back up singer in the last years of his life at the Vegas Hilton. She said he was a great guy who remembered everyone’s name including the waiters who set up the room. He was kind and loving and a gentleman and no one could say a bad word about him he was so generous. I’d say that is pretty good going.

Everything bar the drugs and drink.

At one point he had it all…
The music, the fans, love of his family, money, houses, a lovely wife, a sweet kid………

I have heard he was a lovely gentleman with great manners and terrible troubles.

    Shame really.

    The good die young.

The two biggest ones are the following:

    1. He knew he changed the music world and pop culture forever in the 50’s with his unique, hormone-driven style that drove teens and young adults wild! Before him, any music that was fast-paced was considered "the devil’s music" by many.

Imagine today, living in a world where the only thing we could listen to would be great easy-listening artists like Josh Grobin and Norah Jones. We’d be bored out of our minds! Before Elvis, that’s what was happening up until the mid-fifties!

    2. He was extremely generous, down to earth, and very affectionate.
