Is a signed Elvis Presley Postcard worth anything?

September 28, 2009 - 6:07 pm 11 Comments

I located two signed Elvis presley postcards. They are the original cards. One is of a picture of him when he was a boy and the other is a Christmas card. I just want to know if these cards are worth anything and how can I find out if they are worth anything? I have tried finding them on ebay but I did not see anything.

For them to be worth anything, you need proof that it’s really Elvis’s signature. A certificate of authenticity or verifiable provenance.

Oh yes they are! DO NOT go on ebay and sell them. Have them appraised by an antique dealer and get some insurance for them.

"Elvis autographs are probably the most common counterfeit item on sale at eBay.com. Elvis signature is very difficult to authenticate because there are so many variations in the way Elvis signed his name in the 1950’s, 1960’s and 1970’s. Below are a few examples of authentic Elvis signatures."

Are you totally mad?! Retire now, they will be worth a fortune! Make sure you go through a reputable dealer/auction house to have them authenticated and then they will make a fortune at auction!

    Good luck!

Wow, congratulations. don’t mess with ebay or anyone on line.

You should go to three dealers in your area and get them appraised. If you go to three, you will start to get an idea what your items are worth.

GOOD FOR YOU! I’d think they’re worth something because they’re rare. They’re worth whatever a person is willing to pay for them. Good luck!
