@knowingElvis ,,wow … @knowingElvis ,,wow and more wows, I do have to say how wonderful it is to get to a site where there are no negative comments. Ameican Trilogy….amazing. Check out Lovin’ arms and Just Pretend…..there is just not a person who can sing like him….the Frank Sinatra video….loved it…sure put Franki in his place…he did not like Elvis until he found out….it was time to use him to remain popular…loved it
@TrueLight55 when I … @TrueLight55 when I first heard him sing danny boy it made my heart do a flip flop, with me I dont have a favorite generation of Elvis or when he sounded the best I believe each one he gave something different but boy were they awesome he just had it,my question was I really just wanted to know what year was the magazine that stated this and I was just curious about who was voted the worst singers I dont know if you took it in a different way but it really was just a question ,I LOVE ELVIS 4 EVA
This is what … This is what singing, and talent is! Elvis was not just a once in a lifetime talent… but a once in forever talent! Elvis‘ fans, loved him yesterday, we love him today, and we’ll him forever! His magic lives on!
@TrueLight55 I also … @TrueLight55 I also loved when he did the frank sinatra show when he came out the army singing Fame and fortune and stuck on you & then the all famous duo & Elvis on the milton berle showe so loved it the dance moves the way he worked the microphone I loved alot of elvis earlier stuff THEN THE ALOHA FROM HAWAII concert. an american triology how he just changed his voice at the end, what now my love,he had a strong powerful voice & many other songs on that concert,
@alienhuman Not … @alienhuman Not fabulous quality but quality singing from the greatest, the King! Considering the equipment we had those days I would say the voice was what he had and didn’t need any how about that!! Now like I said its most lip synch or the equipment doing most of the neat job that we get to hear!
@TrueLight55 Ok … @TrueLight55 Ok first of all I am a huge Elvis fan he IS plastered all over my walls and my bookshelf ,now I know Elvis had great versatality in his voice ,he did sound great in the 50,s but when he did the 68 comeback special he was great all the same ,I fell in love with if I can dream, one night with you ,lawdy miss clawdy, jailhouse rock, are you lonesome tonight so many, when Elvis first came out I love when he sang peace in the valley which he promised his mom he would
@TrueLight55 You … @TrueLight55 You are ABSOLUTELY and completely wrong!! Elvis as he got older his voice matured to such a degree astounding not just the ones who knew him and those who were into music but also himself! The young Elvis was wonderful but the older Elvis was MAGNIFICENT!! Don’t you know he was like a persian carpet the older the better at least in Elvis’ case for sure!
@kathycuddles FYI … @kathycuddles FYI Elvis’s voice did lose fluidity with age but it was simply from overuse and strain not age. Elvis performed 827(?) 90 minute concerts in Vegas and strained his voice to the max many many times. This wears out the vocal chords. His voice always had a beautiful quality and range, however E’s young voice is the voice that most boggles the mind. His voice is actually considered a phenomenon by scholars and even studied at universities like Harvard. Listen to his different styles
@kathycuddles I … @kathycuddles I believe 2007-decided on by panel of music experts. E was strangely chosen as #3 greatest voice of all time by Rolling Stone Magazine despite their agreement with Q Mag for his #1 spot (I heard they were pressured long story). The BBC Radio Greatest Singers of the Century stacked up differently putting Elvis at #2 behind Frank Sinatra (sadly) Elvis is a proven more masterful singer by induction into 5 Genre Halls of Fame titling him a master artist in 5 genres. Only man in history
@TrueLight55 did Q … @TrueLight55 did Q magazine just recently crown him with “the greatest voice of all time and who were the worst singers ,what year was the magazine is what I want to know
*ELVIS is appearing … *ELVIS is appearing for one night in theaters around the country July 29th. Look for a theater near you. None of us E fans should miss it. EP’s legacy and greatness are as celebrated today as ever before Let’s celebrate the gift of Elvis Presley on July 29th in movie theaters across the country. Yeah Baby!
His voice is from … His voice is from another world. I absolutely agree with Q Magazine crowning Elvis with “the greatest voice of all time”
1. Elvis Presley
2. Aretha Franklin
3. Frank Sinatra
4. Otis Redding
5. John Lennon
6. Marvin Gaye
7. Kurt Cobain
8. Robert Plant
Agree Absolutely!!! Yeah Baby!!
“Q Magazine bravely attempted to name the best and worst singers ever. They did a good job, wisely going big with Elvis as the top choice”. Rollingstone Magazine
