Alright, the Halloween dance at my school was this past Friday. My ex-gf and I were friends because we broke up a long time ago, and a month ago she asked me to go with her to this dance. I accepted, and soon began falling for her like I did before.

The day at school before the dance, I reminded her about it, and asked if she was still going with me. She said she is. This is valuable information for the question.

At the dance, I met her and two of my friends, dressed looking histerically like the lead singer of KISS! She was dressed like a police woman.

But none of that is important! This is what is getting me! I asked her soon after the dance just started for a slow dance, and she said she’d dance with me once a song she likes comes on. I began hanging with my friends, then I noticed she was dancing with another guy! I mean, the whole damn dance those two were together! And the man had a girlfriend already, but never showed up! Later, I didn’t speak too much to her. I just asked her why she wasn’t talking to me, and she apologized. Then she ignored me the rest of the dance.

Does anyone know what’s going on? Did she really find another man? Am I just an obsessive nut-case? Or is this the normal feeling from heartbreak and being deceived? Is the whole dance all a joke? Does anyone have any ideas?
