Has anyone been married at Graceland Chapel in Las Vegas?

Or attended a wedding there?

I wondered if anyone could share pictures of the place. I booked my wedding there for next year, but there aren’t many pictures on their website and companies tend to make pictures look better than they really are.

Also if anyone could tell about the experience they had there with the people and ceremony in general. Thanks! :)

Me i did, sorry in the middle of moving and pictures are packed up. I really like the place, wasn’t very big inside. But the right size for a handful of friends/family members if any are going to be there.

The walls are a soft yellow and there is a large Stained glass window (with a white dove on it and flowers). It’s not like you see in the movies, cheesy organ player and fake plastic flowers everywhere.
We went with the Elvis package and had a blast (we both are so not Elvis fans) but we did it anyway. We both loved it, we had fun and i had never seen my hubby dance before or heard him sing for that matter.
Some how Elvis got him dancing and singing, and i have never seen his laugh and smile as much (hubby is shy)……….
They will take picture and record the service, you don’t have to buy the DVD. They will ask you after if you would like too, and your given a code # and within 7 days or so. You can look at your wedding pics on line, and "ONLY" order the one that "YOU" want.

Mine came to about $75.00 for about 10 and a few wallet size ones. And we had then in about 10 days, great pictures they were nicely done.
We rented a Mustang convertible for that day (at the stratosphere, for $ 42.00 for 24) so we arrvied in style and drove around Vegas that evening. And drove out to the Hoover Dam the next moring, what ever you both do.

Have fun doing it, wish you both all the best and good luck.
And remeber "What happens in Vegas stays in vegas"…lol

Graceland is OK. Their photography is very average to below average, though. That’s probably why there aren’t many photos on their website.

If you notice the photos on their site, the chapel photo is blown out in the foreground, dark in the background, and crooked. The photo of the outside of the chapel is overexposed and crooked.

Unfortunately they do not allow outside photographers or we’d have some photos for you.

If you already booked then I’d suggest just stop worrying, you get what you’re getting. There’s no reason to stress, it’s out of your control unless you decide to cancel or something.

One golden rule about ANY chapel in Vegas is to NEVER hire their photographer to do anything outside the chapel grounds. If you want to get photos on the strip or out at Red Rock or Lake Mead, etc. then hire a company other than the chapel. The chapels all hire photogs at $10-15/hour and they don’t know a lot about photography except for how to shoot in that small area.
