Who had a harder life Elvis or Michael?
Think about for second.
Elvis became famous over night, started acting in couple of cheesy movies, then got drafted into army. Lost his Mother( when he lost her, it was like half of him went with her), then acted in a bunch of other cheesy movies( by then he was getting frustrated and depressed that he couldn’t act in some the movies he really wanted to act in), later married Priscilla, then did the comeback tour thing ( eventually quits acting), his daughter is born, starts touring in Las Vegas doing two shows a night, starts grueling touring schedules and it brings strain between him and his wife, eventually leading to separation, starts dating Linda Thomson, then the aloha special. Later divorced his wife. Causing Elvis completely fall in depression. Plus he barley could ever leave his home because of the fans. Yes he overdosed on prescription drugs, but it was to escape everything.
He was just a guy who couldn’t lost his life because of fame and trying to keep up a image.

I think Micheal had a harder life but I don’t think he knew anything different other then the life he had whereas elvis knew what it was like to have a normal life and then his world fell apart. Basically MJ had a bad life from the start and he knew no different and Elvis had a good life and then suddenly it collapsed. I dont really know which one is worse

He had a skin condition which became public.
He had false accusations made about him which caused him heart ache.
He was murdered.

Both of their lives were sad. They both had a tremendous amount of things to deal with.
But Michael never had a childhood. Then those accusations and the media ruined him. To me, those circumstances are just unbearable.

Michael-No childhood, beatings, spent entire adulthood trying to recapture childhood. Had he had a childhood, he could have related to adults better and not give people ammo to criticize him and accuse him of molesting boys.On the other hand, you could say that had he actually had a childhood, he might not have been as creative.

michael definetely b/c as mentioned b4 he had an awful childhood and adulthood b/c of the child abuse his father inflicted upon him and the lawsuit about sexual harrasment and despite all of that, he didn’t kill himself but elvis did

I’d say Michael…
He had vitiligo and lupus.
His father absued him and treated him very badly
He didn’t get to have a childhood and felt lonely all the time
He got accused of molestation twice, and endured countless jokes forever afterwards
He was put on trial for cancelling some of his concerts..and that was HIS business and HIS right to do so, if he wanted to cancel
And now, even in death losers make jokes about him.
Plus, I am thinking he was killed off by a conspiracy of evil people…"They" did not like how he was starting to speak out against their evils through songs such as They Don’t Care About Us. "They" hated songs like this one and Earth Song…those NWO jerks.

Elvis had it tougher for 2 reasons, forget about their personal lives, many people lose parents, many children are battered and live normal lives. What made their lives so difficult was their fame, and the pressure their fans placed on them.
1) Elvis wasn’t the first teen idol, that was Frank Sinatra, but Elvis was the first HUGE teen idol. There was no one that experienced what he experienced up to that point, and he couldn’t cope with the fame.
2) Elvis was, and is, the most popular singer to ever live. The price that much fame places on someone is too much for anyone to bare.
MJ was very famous, I am not denying him that, but he never achieved the world wide fame of Elvis (and the record sales prove that), and MJ lived his entire life in the media in a media age. He had Elvis as a role model, yet chose to deal with his fame the same way Elvis did, being a recluse and taking drugs. When you are the first at something, it is always more difficult. Elvis became a world wide phenomenon almost overnight. He achieved a status a status not even the Beatles matched, and yes Elvis did outsell the Beatles in world wide sales a statistic even Beatles acknowledge. All those that came after Elvis, should have learned from him, and not do what he did. Elvis had no such person to look at for guidance, because no one was ever as popular as he was.
So both had it harder than any of us can even imagine, but Elvis being first and more popular had it harder.

Darn good question..
I would say.. each had it hard in different ways..
Elvis.. always thinking about his brother.. and become paranoid, after loosing his mom.. I have never seen it in print.. but he must of had a mental condition once loosing his mom,, he was very lonely.. and progressed to drugs to help the pain, only loosing his wife and child .. he was on a down hill spiral..
all this happened as he was older.. yes,, he was poor at a young age.. but lots of people are poor..
but MJ .. didn’t even get to have a child hood..what a shame..
he was threaten,, beat.. had the responsibility of his ENTIRE family on his back..
definitely MJ>.
