Wrong category. Your question is about art, not royalty. Just because there are royals invovlved doesn’t make the question fit the category.

You obviously haven’t read the Bible very close, or at all. Try following some of the verses other answers here have given you, and I’m sure you’ll see how clearly it is that Jesus clearly came from the house of David, and the biological thread with Joseph was not a necessity in Jesus’ case. God Bless you.

Jesus was from the line of King David. His Mother Mary and His stepfather Joseph were also from the line of David.Read Matthew 1:7-19 and Luke 3:23:38. It gives Jesus's geneolgy. Catholic Christian †

Yes so was Joseph who is recognized by Jewish tradition as being his father.Look at the geneology in the first chapter of Matthew. Maybe look for footnotes that explain the answer and thinking about this.

Actually both of them were descendants of David, Matthew 1 and Luke 2:31-32 speak of both their lineages coming from the Davidic line. As well, God promised that David would always have a son to rule the throne (Jer 17:25) And Jesus was that son, a king, who reigns forever.
