If your computer can handle the entire film (eg. has enough space) then there are many free programs that work very well; however, most of them require a purchase/license fee. One of the best programs is Magic DVD Ripper, and the free trial version doesn’t include an annoying watermark! …however, it will only do 5 videos, so choose wisely.

Otherwise there are many video downloading programs you can use (Realplayer is my favorite) to download videos from the internet- Simba’s Pride is available on youtube.com in HD (be sure to use HD or video will be blurry). But you will probably have to convert the video first to a WMM-compatible file type (such as .avi).

The BEST option, however, is probably vixy.net- it directly downloads the video from any website and automatically converts it to a WMM compatible file- sweet, eh?

(BTW, downloading movies may be illegal, but if I own the film (on 2 DVDs and on VHS) I’ll be d*mned if I’m paying $50 for a program to put it on my own computer. Also, WMM is very picky, so I’d probably have to convert it online as well, which is of course questionably legal).

I am a young entrepreneur who wants to start a business selling high quality sandwiches. However to start my business, I don’t want to have a shop or store, I want to sell my sandwiches to corporations and businesses…for example, they would call in and order a certain amount of sandwiches and i would make them and deliver it…simple right? Where do i begin? what paperwork do i need? what legalities might i face? What kind of funds am i looking at? How do you think i should approach this idea? I have a burning desire and will succeed, i just need a kick start. Thanks and much aloha from hawaii.

I would begin by buying either "starting a resteraunt" for dummies or "Owning a small buisness" for dummies, one option
for your particular situation is to open a sandwhich stand somewhere popular to visit like downtown or near a shopping mall or even in a shopping mall, there are legal issues you have to settle and you have to get your name out there either by directory advertising (advertising in the yellow or white pages) or spreading pamphlets at coffeeshops and other nuteral locations, the hardest part though is going to be finding out who you buy your products from and who you are marketing to, you cannot market to people in a hurry because they require premade food and you plan on selling fresh, if you want corporations buying for small luncheons your going to require a specific amount of time they have to call a head of time so that you can fill the order in time if its a big one.
