January 30, 2010 - 11:44 pm 25 Comments

Elvis Presley the King of Rock and Roll performing several songs in Vegas Live.

Special Thanks to Chrisgoulis for the Video

Songs:
1. Hound Dog
2. Blue Suede Shoes
3. In the Ghetto
4. The Wonder of You

Hound Dog Lyrics:
You aint nothin but a hound dog
Cryin all the time.
You aint nothin but a hound dog
Cryin all the time.
Well, you aint never caught a rabbit
And you aint no friend of mine.

When they said you was high classed,
Well, that was just a lie.
When they said you was high classed,
Well, that was just a lie.
You aint never caught a rabbit
And you aint no friend of mine.

Blue Suede Shoes Lyrics:
Well, its one for the money,
Two for the show,
Three to get ready,
Now go, cat, go.

But dont you step on my blue suede shoes.
You can do anything but lay off of my blue suede shoes.

Well, you can knock me down,
Step in my face,
Slander my name
All over the place.

Do anything that you want to do, but uh-uh,
Honey, lay off of my shoes
Dont you step on my blue suede shoes.
You can do anything but lay off of my blue suede shoes.

You can burn my house,
Steal my car,
Drink my liquor
From an old fruitjar.

Do anything that you want to do, but uh-uh,
Honey, lay off of my shoes
Dont you step on my blue suede shoes.
You can do anything but lay off of my blue suede shoes.

In The Ghetto Lyrics:
As the snow flies
On a cold and gray chicago mornin
A poor little baby child is born
In the ghetto
And his mama cries
cause if theres one thing that she dont need
Its another hungry mouth to feed
In the ghetto

People, dont you understand
The child needs a helping hand
Or grow to be an angry young man some day
Take a look at you and me,
Are we too blind to see,
Do we simply turn our heads
And look the other way

Well the world turns
And a hungry little boy with a runny nose
Plays in the street as the cold wind blows
In the ghetto

And his hunger burns
So he starts to roam the streets at night
And he learns how to steal
And he learns how to fight
In the ghetto

Then one night in desperation
A young man breaks away
He buys a gun, steals a car,
Tries to run, but he dont get far
And his mama cries

As a crowd gathers round an angry young man
Face down on the street with a gun in his hand
In the ghetto

As her young man dies,
On a cold and gray chicago mornin,
Another little baby child is born
In the ghetto

The Wonder of You Lyrics:
When no-one else can understand me
When everything I do is wrong
You give me hope and consolation
You give me strength to carry on

And you’re always there to lend a hand
In everything I do
That’s the wonder
The wonder of you

And when you smile the world is brighter
You touch my hand and I’m a king
Your kiss to me is worth a fortune
Your love for me is everything

I’ll guess I’ll never know the reason why
You love me like you do
That’s the wonder
The wonder of you

aloha ! I want to know about Hawaii … ?

January 25, 2010 - 6:28 pm 6 Comments

I am going to hawaii in a few days (specifically wakiki) and I wanted to know some basic information/facts about Hawaii.
So, anything you can contribute would me greatlyappreciated …
Thanks ! :-)

Aloha,
First of all, the Honolulu forum is a perfect example to verify the saying "You can’t believe everything you read on the internet." Do not listen to those that tell our visitors to go to the Leeward Side, Makaha or Nanakuli. These places are not visitor friendly. The posters that are telling you this think that they are being funny, and do not have any aloha. Hula’s is primarily a gay club, but can be good fun for those with an open mind.
If you are coming before the weekend, make sure and pack an umbrella, there is a pretty strong storm front expected to pass over Oahu in the next few days. The good news about the storm is surfs up! We are expecting 35 foot (face) waves coming on to the northwestern shores. The storm is expected to pass over the islands very rapidly, so don’t worry, you will get some sun.
Duke’s is always a good place to go in Waikiki and watch the sunset. They have good food and great local entertainment. (It is located right in the middle of Waikiki on Kalakaua). You can walk out to the beach in the front and the beach boys will take you for a ride in an outrigger canoe. Next door to Duke’s is the Hula Grill, which serves a great breakfast in an oceanfront setting. The International Market Place is a must for souveniers. Make sure you walk through first. You will find many vendors selling the same items at different prices. If you go later in the evening (when they are just about to fold up), you will get better prices, and don’t be afraid to bargain with them.
The parking in Waikiki is terrible, so it is best to walk. Kalakaua is good fun at night, but stay on the main street.
Have fun and enjoy your holiday!

regards pops,,

What cigars does Kurt Russell smoke in "3000 Miles to Graceland"?

January 25, 2010 - 6:27 pm 1 Comment

They’re little Cigars, more like cigarettes, but I was trying to figure out what kind they are. As he is smoking one the little kid takes one and starts to smoke one then Kurt takes the cigar from the kid and breaks off the filters saying that filters are for pussies. (I know they’re not prime times, prime times are cheap.)
